1Bluffton (Indiana) News-Banner, Online edition, 8 Feb 2017. "Jerry D. Miller, 84, of St. Petersburg, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.

He was born in Bluffton to Raymond D. Miller and Mina Arnold.

A veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War, he enjoyed volunteering in his community and was a member of The Cathedral Church of St. Peter.

He is survived by his wife Sharon of 58 years; two daughters, Myra B. Witko and Yvonne A. Brendel; and four grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at The Cathedral Church of St. Peter, 140 4th Street N., with interment in the church garden.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to The Cathedral Church of St. Peter’s Music Fund, P.O. Box 1581 St. Petersburg, FL 33731.

322. Monte Eugene TRAVIS

1Obituary. "TRAVIS, Monte Sr. – of Oscoda, age 68, passed away November 6, 2014 at his daughter’s residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, followed by Military Honors will be held 6 PM Monday, November 10, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 4 pm until time of service. The family requests casual attire please. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Monte was born in Bluffton, Indiana on October 27, 1946, son of the late Vaughn and Ruby (Arnold) Travis. He graduated from Oscoda High School. Monte proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He married Mary Ann McRobbie on June 13, 1970. Monte enjoyed golfing, playing with his grandchildren and watching western reruns (over and over). He retired from Buick after 42 years of service. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and UAW Local #599. Monte may be gone, but not forgotten.
Monte is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann; daughter, Michele (Greg) Shay; son, Monte Jr. (Melissa) Travis; daughter, Lindsay Travis (Cym); grandsons, CJ Cooper, Monte III and Sawyer “Soybean” Travis; sister, Cheryl (Marv) Smith. 1Dayton Daily News, Online edition, 16 Feb 2012. "YOUNG, Rebecca Jane age 57, of Tipp City passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Rebecca was a 1972 graduate of Wayne High School. She was an Office Manager at Bonbright Distributors for 35 years. Rebecca had a great group of co-workers that she built life long relationships with and considered them family. On July 29th, 1974, she married her sweetheart John. Rebecca loved traveling with her daughter to many parts of the world including the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, and other destinations. She was known by all those who loved her as a loving, strong woman who was beautiful on the inside and out. Rebecca loved to help people in any way she could. Preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Ruby Travis. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, John Young; daughter and best friend, Amanda Young; step-children, John Young and Michelle Sylla; brother, Monte (Maryann) Travis; sister, Cheryl (Marvin) Travis-Smith; many loving nieces and nephews; and her loving supportive group of friends and co-workers. Special Thanks to Oncologist, Dr. Gregory Gordon from the Cancer Specialists of Dayton for everything he has done for Rebecca and her family. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stoop Road, Kettering.
