Ethel Mae HARSHMAN

Ethel Mae Wolf, 76, of Bluffton, died at 12:35 a.m. today at Meadowvale Care Center. Death was due to a stroke and followed an illness of 18 months. She was employed in the 1960s at Nowak’s Progress Store and in the 1970s at Bummie’s B&K Root Beer Stand. She was born in Wells County July 30, 1924 to Orlo and Hattie Wasson Harshman. Her marriage at Bluffton on Dec. 24, 1943 was to James E. Wolf, who died Sept. 6, 1999. She was a 1943 graduate of Rockcreek High School. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Cynthia Jo) Wiedelman of Bluffton; a son, James “Andy” Wolf of rural Craigville; four brothers, John Harshman of Anderson, Paul Harshman of Bluffton, Norman Harshman of Washington, Mich., and Ronald “Dick” Harshman of Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Ellen) Tarr of Dunkirk and Nondis Lash of Bluffton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A brother and two sisters are deceased. Services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday will be at Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, where calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. Rev. Mark Dauterman will officiate and burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery. Memorials to the First Church of Christ.


976. Donavan Samuel WOLF

Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Saturday 1/10/98 - Monday 1/12/98  DONOVAN S.WOLF, 62, died Wednesday at Conroe, Texas Medical Center. Born in Bluffton, he had lived in Fort Wayne since 1960. He was an operating engineer for Local 103 and was a farmer in Bluffton for many years. Surviving are his wife, Barbara J.; two sons, Trent L. of Conroe and Thomas L. of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Tara L. Kinder of Fort Wayne; four brothers, James and Waldo, both of Bluffton, Dewight of Huntington and Ronald of St. Paris, Ohio; three sisters, Maxine Lude of Columbia City, and Ruth Risser and Phyllis Arnold, both of Bluffton, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Todd P. Wolf, and a daughter, Tricia L. Wolf. Services were Tuesday at Elzey & Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to American Heart Association.


Juanita LAUTZENHEIZER

Died Tuesday (10/14/1997) at Woodcrest Nursing Center. Born in AdamsCounty, she owned and operated Arnold`s Flower Shop and operated Arnold`s Trailer Court in Rockford, Ohio. Surviving are four daughters, Nancy Shook of rural Decatur, Betty Tolson of Winter Haven, Fla., Darlene Cochran of Wilshire, Ohio, and Ruth Ann Miller of Seymour; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Roger D., died in 1995. Services at 11a.m. EDT (10a.m. Fort Wayne time) Friday at Wilshire United Brethren in Christ Church, Wilshire. Calling from 1-9P.M. Thursday at Zwick-Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, and an hour before services at the church. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to Camp COTUBIC or to Women`s Missionary Fellowship.
