1Bluffton (Indiana) News-Banner, On-line edition, 16 Feb 2008. "Steven Michael Brinneman, 29 Steven Michael Brinneman, 29, of Markle, died at 11:36 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in Bluffton. Born in Bluffton on Jan. 4, 1979 to David and Rita (Roberts) Brinneman, he married Angelia Bennett in Manhatten, Kan. on Feb. 14, 2006; she survives. A graduate of Norwell High School, Mr. Brinneman served in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2006, achieving the rank of sergeant. He served in Iraq and was a disabled veteran. He worked in construction. Other surviving relatives include three children, Logan M. Staples of Fort Wayne, Madison T. Brinneman of Bluffton and Sydney Brinneman of Markle; one sister, Amanda N. Brinneman of Fort Wayne; one brother, Ted F. Brinneman of Bluffton; and grandparents Joyce Roberts of Bluffton and Priscilla and Robert Brickley of Craigville. Private family funeral services will be held at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with the Rev. Otto Dorsch officiating. Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is at St. Paul Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the children’s fund."
