Maddux, 102, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Visitation hours at the funeral chapel will be Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Mrs. Maddux, a former resident of Bluffton, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at Swiss Village in Berne. She was born in Fort Wayne April 8, 1898 to John and Rosa Moser Graden. Her marriage at Hillsdale, Mich., on Sept. 25, 1917 was to Charles F. Maddux, who died July 30, 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Sprunger of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Floyd (Marilyn) Minnich of Bluffton; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Toussaint and Mrs. Esther Smith, both of Bluffton;  five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters are deceased. Rev. I. James Eshleman will officiate at services and burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Memorials to Swiss Village."

Born Nov. 14, 1906, in Wells County to John W. and Estella Bush Woodward, he retired from Sterling Casting in 1971. Survivors include a son, Jerry, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Marjorie Siebold, of Lake Placid, Fla.; a sister, Avis Gibson of Bluffton; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. There will be no calling. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ossian. Rev. Tim Dilley will officiate. Arrangements are through Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, Ossian Chapel."

Tim was born in Bluffton on Nov. 29, 1949, to Carl and Wilda Lydy Fuller.

A 1969 graduate of Bluffton High School, he then served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. He was a member of the former Calvary Chapel in Bluffton and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #242 and American Legion Post 111 of Bluffton. He retired from Peyton’s Northern in Bluffton.

Survivors include his half-brother, Richard (Connie) Edington of Bluffton; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Mike Fuller.

Services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, Sept., 8, at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with Pastor Arley Higginbotham officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grove Cemetery in Wells County, with military graveside rites provided by the U.S. Army in conjunction with the American Legion Post 111.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 111."
