James E. Wolf, 74, of 231 Greenbriar Dr., Bluffton, who was injured in an auto accident at 7:05 p.m. Monday on U.S. 24 west of Huntington, died at 8:44 p.m. Monday at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mr. Wolf, who was retired after 36 years at Franklin Electric Co., was recently employed with Wabash Electric in Bluffton. He also had been engaged in farming along with his period of employment at Franklin Electric. He was a graduate in 1943 of Lancaster High School and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Bluffton. He was born in Wells County Aug. 20, 1925 to DeWitt and Esther Arnold Wolf. His marriage Dec. 24, 1943 at Bluffton was to Ethel Mae Harshman, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Cynthia Jo) Wiedelman of Bluffton; a son, James Andrew "Andy" Wolf of Craigville; three sisters, Ruth Risser of Bluffton, Maxine Lude of Columbia City and Phyllis Thomas of Geneva; three brothers, Dwight "Bud" of Huntington, and Ronald and Waldo, both of Bluffton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Dauterman officiating. Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday after 9 a.m. Memorials to the First Church of Christ."

Dwight L. "Bud" Wolf, 67, of Huntington, died at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile collision on U.S. 24 in Huntington County on Monday, Sept. 6, which also claimed the life of his brother, James E. Wolf, 74, of Bluffton. Mr. Wolf worked as a heavy equipment operator with the Huntington County Highway Department for 27 years and with the Indiana Highway Department for seven years, retiring in 1996. He was a graduate in 1949 of Lancaster High School in Wells County. He was a member of the Huntington Exchange Club, treasurer of the Huntington County Democratic Party, member of the Jeffersonian Club of Huntington and member of the Loon Creek Church of the Brethren. He was born in Wells County Nov. 16, 1931 to DeWitt and Esther Arnold Wolf. His marriage at Liberty Center on Aug. 16, 1951 was to Wanda Rennaker,
who survives. Also surviving are a son, Bud D. Wolf of Huntington; five daughters, Mrs. Charles (Jane) Robbins and Mrs. Edward (Judy) Ungerer, both of Auburn, Sue Wolf of Westwood, Kan., Mrs. Douglas (Twila) Johnson and Mrs. John (Rita) Johnson, both of Huntington; two brothers, Waldo Wolf and Ronald Wolf, both of Bluffton; three sisters, Maxine Lude of Columbia City, Ruth Risser of Bluffton and Phyllis Thomas of Geneva. Others surviving are 15 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Five brothers and two sisters are deceased. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Home in Huntington with burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. and also on Saturday for one hour prior to services. Wolf, 34, of Marion, Ohio, died after being struck by a train in Marion at 11:30 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2006. Born April 27, 1972, in Wells County to Ron and Sharon “Shari” Wolf, he was married to Tina Wolf of Marion, Ohio. She survives. A 1991 graduate of Grahm High School in St. Paris, Ohio, he was a skilled welder, graduating from Hobart School of Welding in Troy, Ohio, in 1993. In addition to his parents in Bluffton, and his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Brittany Smith, of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Ara (Veronica) Millhouse of Williamsburg, Va.; and grandparents Truman and Ruby (Brown) Welch of Muncie. He was preceded in death by grandparents DeWitt and Esther Wolf and grandfather Melvin Brown. Services at 2 p.m. Thursday will be at the First Church of Christ with Pastor Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery. Calling will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the Erlanger/Elsmere School District.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald William Arnold, in 2012; her parents, Martin John and Ida Brueggeman Frosch; her sisters, Renata Geisman and Ida Smith; and a brother, Paul Frosch.

Survivors include her daughters, Louise Dorrell of Florence, Ky., Joanne (Jon) Bennett of Edgewood, Ky., and Ann (Frank Jr.) Bell of Ludlow, Ky.; a son, Jerry (Elaine) Arnold of Plano, Texas; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday Aug. 23, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, 1833 Petersburg Road, Hebron, Ky. Funeral services will follow at noon.

Interment will be in the Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron, Ky.
