Dalrymple, 89, of Bloomington, died Sunday April 7, 2013, at the IU Health Hospice House of Bloomington. She was born Dec. 3, 1923, in Liberty Center, to Luster and Gertie Reece Arnold. Survivors include a son, James A. (Diana) Spoolstra, and a daughter, Judith Ann Quance, both of Bloomington; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Harold (Marjorie) Arnold and Max (Shirley) Arnold. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Dale Arnold, and her husbands Robert Spoolstra, Robert Kolb, and Elijah Dalrymple. Graveside services for Mrs. Dalrymple will be conducted May 11 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Fort Wayne. The Allen Funeral Home of Bloomington is in charge of arrangements."

1Bluffton (Indiana) News-Banner, On line edition, 30 Jan 2015. "Max E. Arnold, 77, of Bluffton, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, 2015, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton. Max was born April 24, 1937, in Wells County, to Luster H. and Gertrude (Reece) Arnold. He graduated from East Rockcreek High School in 1955, where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. He started his 40-plus years involvement in the Wells County 4-H programs, and passed on his passion for cattle to his children, grandchildren and many friends. On Aug. 10, 1978, in Miami, Ok., Max and Shirley A. Fear Arnold were married. Shirley survives in Bluffton, along with children, Tim (Deb) Arnold of Berne, Marilyn (Barry) Buckland of Huntington, Tami (Tom) Sealscott of Monroeville, Mary Jo Johnson, Dave (Julie) Penrod, Randy (Linda) Penrod, all of Bluffton, and Keith (Jenina) Penrod of Broken Arrow, Ok. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold (Marge) Arnold of Bluffton. He was preceded in death by his parents; along with two brothers, Bob and Dale Arnold; and a sister, Marge Dalrymple. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home with calling for one hour prior to the service. Jeff Lemler will officiate. Burial will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Memorials may be made in Max’s memory to the Wells County 4-H Association through the funeral home.
